Single Car Crash in Oakland County Results in Death According To Michigan State Police

Last night at around 830 p.m. local time, there was a single car accident in Oakland County.  The crash occurred on Grange Hall Road and Foxwood Trail which is located in Groveland Township.  Michigan State Police Officers were the first responders to the scene and for once actually provided some good information.

Their preliminary crash investigation found that the driver was traveling in a 2003 Chevrolet at a high rate of speed on Grange Hall Road.  The driver then lost control at the intersection of Foxwood Trail and this resulted in the vehicle falling off the road and hitting a large tree.  There were 2 people in the car at the time of the crash.  One of the individuals has been transported to Genysis Hospital in Flint.  Unfortunately, the other individual was dead at the scene and trapped inside of the vehicle.  The Groveland Fire Department is currently trying to extract the body from the wreckage.

Michigan State Police stated that the individuals have not yet been identified.  We will try to get you all of this missing information as soon as it becomes available.
